Colt H&S - Delivering Projects, Safely
The safety of our employees, sub-contractors and customers overrides all other business objectives.
An easy statement to make perhaps, but putting it in practice requires the correct knowhow and commitment.
At Colt we take health and safety very seriously; we aim to ensure projects aren't just completed on time and on budget, but delivered and installed in complete safety. Training is the key to achieving the high levels of safety we guarantee on our projects.
As a specialist sub-contractor, Colt has obtained accreditation as a qualified training provider for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. Our project managers have completed the new Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) training in construction. Both our project managers and installers have undergone Health and Safety Awareness Training Courses as Colt is also a licensed provider of IOSH H&S training courses for general operatives working in construction.
Colt's commitment to health and safety is widely recognised in the industry: the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents awarded us the Gold Medal Award 2009, which we have retained for five consecutive years. In addition, we have CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme), Safe Contractor Approved, Achillies and British Safety Council and Investors in People accreditations.
When you work with Colt, you have the peace of mind of knowing that health and safety comes as standard with us.
If you would like further information on our commitment to health and safety, please telephone our Health & Safety and Environment Manager, Michael D'Arcy on 02392 491247, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
