Colt partners with Capita Symonds at Ecobuild 2011 and showcases its “Shadovoltaic” range of Building Integrated Photovoltaics in the ‘Cool Workspace’ concept installation

As Capita Symonds' strategic partner, Colt is providing its expertise in the latest energy efficient technologies and will participate in its partner's revolutionary Cool Workspace’ concept installation at Ecobuild 2011- the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment - to provide a unique insight into the sustainable office of the future.

Colt will showcase within the 'Cool Workspace' installation its Shadovoltaic range of Building Integrated Photovoltaics, which have the potential to tap into the energy contained in every building façade, using it to generate power.

Colt Shadovoltaic systems combine the functions of solar shading with the generation of electrical power: they consist of glass shading louvres that reduce internal cooling loads and capture the energy of the sun, converting it into electricity.
