Caloris WRF has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Cooling Industry Awards 2009.
This award winning system (recently successful in the H&V News awards) has demonstrated its flexibility and efficiency as a safe and credible alternative to VRF air conditioning systems.
Flexible due to quick installation (two pipe uninsulated system). Flexibility in utilising external air source or ground source heat pumps or the award wining hybrid system consisting a combination of both air and ground source.
Flexible in being able to heat and cool at the same time.
Efficiency due to localised indoor heat pumps linked to external heat pumps with a wide temperature bandwidth resulting in low running operation (External units only need to run approximately 10% annually).
Efficiency due to high COP levels of up to 6.
Safe - WRF utilises water rather than refrigerant as its main energy transfer medium.
