"CLEARING THE AIR" SEMINARS

Colt completed a series of free technical seminars in April 2008 examining current and future trends in smoke control.

Experts from Colt, Hoare Lea Fire and Tenos Fire Safety Engineering discussed many aspects of this subject, covering the wide range of its different applications, from tall buildings to residential projects, and from fire fighting shafts to car parks. They covered recent and proposed changes in legislation and standards. Click here to find out more about the speakers.

Example projects which were reviewed include Pan Peninsula, the tallest residential project in Europe, which is currently under construction in London's Docklands, and the Paradise Street car park in Liverpool, which involved a complex fire strategy for one of the largest underground car parks in Europe.
