Colt provided 18 Coltlite natural glass louvre ventilators for the refurbishment of the UCL Institute of Cancer Studies in Bloomsbury, London. These provide inlet ventilation for the protection of the stairwells in the case of fire, as well as day-to-day ventilation.
The natural ventilators are 3400mm high and either 1166 or 1200mm wide and let in good quantities of natural daylight. For this project, both manual and electronic control mechanisms for opening the louvres were used.
