The old style blending into the new

The Hotel Hafen in a fine older style building which has recently been renovated to provide a striking, modern design.

A Colt Shadoglass fritted glass louvre system and supporting structure was installed so that daylight could enter the hotel through the roof.

The louvres are toughened laminated green in colour and white frittedglass so as to reduce the solar heat gain. Although there is a 70% frit, the view out is excellent.

The hotel has gained a striking new image. The fritted glass louvre system provides a striking architectural image as well as the provision of a controlled amount of daylight.
