Sainsbury's Maidenhead

This retail-led mixed-use scheme has created a vibrant new quarter and public space in the heart of the town while raising the profile of the existing Sainsbury's store.

The development of the Sainsbury's store includes some apartments and an extensive car park. The store has been doubled in size, and the development has greatly improved facilities for shoppers and residents alike.

The balconies provide a secondary openable facade to the balcony space which fronts onto a busy dual carriageway. These allow the space to be used as open balconies in the summer months, and provide a stunning facade in the town centre.

In addition, Coltlite glass louvred ventilators were provided to the stair cores for natural ventilation, and Universal Louvre to the plant room spaces.
