The new Junior School for St Aloysius' was designed by Glasgow based architects Elder and Cannon, and is opposite the existing main school building. The Main Contractor for this project was Lilley Construction.

The south facing facade of the building incorporates a system of Colt vertically mounted Shadoglass glass louvres controlled by a Colt CCS2000 system.The glass Louvres minimise glare and direct solar heat gain to the classrooms on two levels.
