Solar C and Universal Louvre

This new leisure complex in Milton Keynes is an impressive steel and glass structure which houses Europe's largest indoor ski slope.

With a ski slope measuring 180 metres long, 60 metres wide and 44 metres high, 1,500 tonnes of fresh snow are used each year. Xscape also features a 16-screen cinema, ten-pin bowling, restaurants and other leisure activities.

Colt supplied decorative solar shading and Universal Louvre.
Fixed external, horizontal Solar C shading louvre provided a reduction in solar heat gain for the south facing facade.
