Colt UK
Aalsmeer, Dutch Flower Group, Holland
Aalsmeer is likely the largest flower auction in the world and by far the largest in the Netherlands. Due to a high level of expansion, a new south wing and an immense distribution centre were built and specified by an all-in-one technical contractor, VDR Installations BV.
Formerly solely using VRF equipment for their projects, VDR got convinced by the advantages of Colt Caloris against VRF. Besides this project, several DHL distribution centres all over the country are also build by VDR of which the last two are using Caloris too. Due to the really low temperature of the adjacent distribution centre (flowers) a full individual and high comfort air conditioning system was required for the offices. Caloris was specified as the only option for Dutch Flower.
