Colt HOLLAND
Pre Wonen, Haarlem-Velserbroek
The specification for the Caloris system was created by the Consultant Booms & Kuipers and LB&P. The building is used by a residential tenant organisation. The building had to be extremely energy efficient, environmental friendly and giving a flexible solution, all of which the Colt Caloris system could provide.
A Colt-Caloris system was specified in addition to a Colt glazing and photovoltaic system in the roof.
In order to achieve maximum thermal buffer capacity, which is provided by the building itself - thereby making the Caloris system even more efficient -, all pipework is fully embedded in the concrete structure of the building, not just in the screed. This reduces the full load operation for the central heat pumps to a minimum. Finally, a Colt-Caloris floor heating system was installed in the main reception area.
Individual control and comfort were important factors in the choice of Colt-Caloris.
