University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, UK

Attractive, unobtrusive day-to-day ventilation was required for the University of Hertfordshire's new Academy block. Colt supplied 464 Coltlite Natural Glazed Ventilators with manual controls to meet the Architect's specification.

All the ventilators were installed into the preparatory glazing system via adaptor rails. On the ground floor, 24mm double glazed Coltlites with manual crank handles were installed. Insulated aluminium bladed ventilators were also fitted to the first and second floors with manual handles and a connecting rod between the upper and lower ventilators to facilitate simultaneous opening.
