Controlled weathered natural ventilation

Colt provided Kameleon and Seefire ventilators for smoke ventilation of the malls, and specially designed glass louvre ventilators for natural ventilation. The glass louvred ventilators were required to blend into the glazing yet give a high free area of ventilation. To achieve this, Colt designed special back-hinged glass ventilators with large toughened/ laminated glass louvres, with motors concealed in the mullions. The louvres open to 70 ° and form a tight weathered seal when closed. Colt worked with Dane Architectural Systems Limited who was responsible for the curtain wall system and the roof.
