Coltair is a flexible, high capacity air handling system which is ideal for localised cooling, heating & heat recovery, as well as for general comfort control in industrial and commercial applications. Coltair is configured from an extensive range of modular components to suit each installation.
Decentralised air handling system
ColtAir is suited to installation in all kinds of industrial buildings, as well as in retail sheds and distribution centres, whether in the course of renovation or in new build.
ColtAir consists of a number of separate modules chiefly manufactured from corrosion resistant, lightweight aluminium with some stainless or galvanised steel components.
The Colt team assembles the various ColtAir components to suit the particular requirements of the project.
How It Functions
As the air passes through the unit, it can be heated, cooled, filtered and/or attenuated as required. The unit can also recover warm air from under the ceiling, mix it with ambient fresh air, and discharge it at lower working levels. It can also be used to extract stale air or fumes from specific areas or processes.
Options
The unit is available in two standard sizes, 05 (520mm square ducting) and 07 (750mm square ducting), and it can be extended or retrofitted at any time after installation. The modular components include: RIU (roof) or WIU (wall) inlet assemblies, various lengths and configurations of ducting, air recirculation units, filter modules (up to F9 class), steam or hot water heater batteries, various kinds of sound attenuators, axial or mixed flow fan units, and various kinds of air projectors.
