WCO ventilator
General description
WCO is a natural louvred ventilator that is available in a wide range of sizes, louvre options and control options.
It is best suited to industrial buildings and can provide both day to day and smoke ventilation, as well as permit the entry of natural daylight if fitted with glass or polycarbonate blades.
It can provide weathered ventilation through its two controllable side dampers.
WCO is manufactured to the ISO 9000 quality standard.
Louvres
- Single skin aluminium, with or without low-loss brush seals
- Double skin aluminium, with or without low-loss brush seals
- Twin wall opaque or clear polycarbonate, with rubber seals
Controls
- OPV (electronic): failsafe open or close
- 24v dc or 230v ac electric: failsafe open or close, or power to open and close for both top louvres and side dampers.
- Pneumatic: failsafe open or close, or double locking, for top louvres

All versions may be fitted with a fusible link or fire override to open the vent at a pre-defined temperature irrespective of the control mode.
Dimensions
Nine width options, from 550mm throat width to 1900mm throat width.
Fifteen length options, from 638mm throat length to 2500mm throat length.
Finishes
WCO is available mill finish, polyester powder coated to a RAL colour, or a special finish such as PVF2.
Bases and installation
The ventilator can be installed at any angle from the horizontal to 45°. Its wide range of base types and the fact that it is lightweight means that it can be installed into nearly any type of roof structure.
