General
The induction car park unit shall be capable of duties of up to (select) 2.7 (or) 1.8 m3/ sec and thrusts of up to (select) 50N (or) 100N, with a single speed motor suitable for inverter control, tested to the European Standard EN 12101-3: 2002. The unit shall be designed for directing exhaust fumes (in day to day mode) and smoke in a controlled manner towards the main extract positions of the car park.
Fan Casing
The fan casing and integral mounting feet for mounting the unit to the car park ceiling shall provide a long lasting robust construction. All parts shall be manufactured from 1.5 mm heavy gauge 2-pack epoxy coated steel with a directional outlet diffuser. The centrifugal fan unit shall be housed within a low silhouette steel casing assembly measuring (select) 320mm (or) 255mm deep enabling flush fit with the underside of the car park ceiling.
Fan Unit
The laminar airflow fan will incorporate a backward curved centrifugal impeller within a low profile slim-line casing.
The motor is to be totally enclosed, air stream cooled, metric frame to IP55 standard. It shall have Class F or Class H insulation for normal continuous duty or smoke conditions, once only at 300°C for 1 hour, Class F300 to EN 12101-3 (2002). The motor shall be single speed suitable for inverter control. The motor shall have flying leads connected to an external padlockable isolator switch to IP65 Standard.
Finishes
The unit shall be powder coated as standard to RAL 7035 light grey.
Certification
The unit shall be designed and manufactured with procedures as defined in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000. The unit shall be tested at elevated temperatures in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN 12101-3: 2002 and achieve a F300 rating.
