Smoke Ventilation System - Glazed Ventilators

Retention of listed buildings within the frontages and a diverse approach to distinguish respective facades sensitively reduces the potential impact of this considerable development on the existing town centre.

This 35,000m² shopping centre was designed by Leslie Jones Architects and Cudd Bentley Partnership for client Capital Shopping Centres plc. Colt worked closely with the Design Team and the contractors Costain Skanska Joint Venture on the design and installation of the smoke ventilation system which consisted of 88 Colt glazed casement Kameleon ventilators and 6 Colt trapezoid shaped, double flap Meteor ventilators.
