Description
Coltlite LWS 45 natural louvred ventilator, fitted with chamfered glass, suitable for natural day to day ventilation. For installation in the vertical only.
Detailed Description
Thermally broken extruded aluminium (47mm thick) outer frame with frameless controllable, single glazed, bevelled glass louvres.
Dimensions / size range
From 250mm to 1600mm in width, and from 200mm to 3000mm in height as one module.

Thermally broken, 47mm deep
Louvres
- 8mm / 10mm / 12mm overall clear bevelled toughened glass.
Blade Pitch
180 - 300mm (depending on overall size of complete unit) with central pivot point.
Colours/ finishes options
- Polyester powder paint to a RAL colour, standard 75 mu
- Anodised, standard 20 mu
Fixing options
- Fixing to curtain walling using 24 to 36 mm thermally broken glazing frame adaptor
- Fixing to structural opening using either through frame or strap fixings.

Frame mounted motor (hidden behind side frame profile) positioned at:
on either side frame and with a typical operation time of 15-30 seconds.
- Optional device to reduce the speed and force of closing louvres, to reduce the risk of finger squeezing (electric versions only).
If used as a smoke ventilator, activation is either by local thermal fuse which opens the unit at a pre-selected temperature, or by responding to an external release signal.
Performance
The following performance attributes follow tests to EN 14351-1:2006 (standard for windows and doors). The exact performance attribute will depend on the chosen size, controls, and louvre type.
