The Coltair industrial air handling system is well suited to industries such as plastics, metal or food, or for installation in warehouses and retail sheds. It is well suited for combining with a Colt Coolstream evaporative cooling system as an air input unit.
How Coltair works
Coltair is a mechanical air supply system which brings fresh outdoor air through the roof or the facade of the building. Internal air can be mixed with this outdoor air or it can be completely re-circulated, or fresh air introduced to the working area below. Where heating is required, the supply air is reheated by an additional heating coil. Where cooling is required, this is normally achieved by combining it with a Colt Coolstream evaporative cooling system.
Extended ventilation capability
Coltair can also be used to exhaust stale air or fumes from specific areas or processes. Where an optional heat recovery unit is installed, this can lead to high efficiencies.
Decentralised air handling system
Robust, reliable and durable
Coltair is mostly made from durable aluminium, which is very resistant to corrosion and extremely lightweight compared to steel. Minor parts are made either from galvanised steel or stainless steel.

It can be extended or retrofitted at any time after installation.
