The £113m Manchester Civil Justice Centre is a landmark 16- storey building. With a floor area of 34,000 m² and providing 47 courtrooms, it is the biggest court building to be built in the UK since the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

Working closely with the Construction Company Kajima and the client's architect, Colt undertook the majority of the metal and glass roof level works at the new Health and Safety Executive's HQ in Liverpool, working simultaneously with the primary roof cladding sub-contractor to fulfil a contract worth over £3m.
