Alderman Cogan’s School is one of the oldest schools in Hull, founded by Alderman Cogan in 1753. The current school has the famous old stone originally built in over the doorway of the original school. The school is committed to being an inclusive school – ensuring opportunities for all pupils and staff regardless of race, faith, gender or disability. The Governing Body has high expectations in both academic work and behaviour and every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Colt designed, manufactured and installed an external solar shading system using Colt Solarfin fixed metal louvres to reduce solar heat gain and lessen glare, whilst still maximising natural daylight. The Solarfin louvres are RAL colour coated to the client’s design to provide an aesthetic façade.
