Sunday Adeyoju

As an electrical engineer within the Smoke Control division, Sunday is always kept on his toes. Designing electrical systems and supporting projects are just some of the parts of his diverse job.

After studying a HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Nigeria, Sunday spent a couple of years working in Telecommunications before deciding to move to the UK where he studied robotics for a year before deciding to go back to Electrical Engineering to widen his options. He worked his way up at ACW Technology to become a supervisor, but he wanted to move to a bigger company with more progression. After receiving offers from a number of companies, Sunday decided that Colt ticked all the boxes.

As a newer member of Colt, Sunday says “I’m settling in really well, the company is incredibly supportive and I am always learning new things. I’m confident I will have a successful future with Colt.”

He likes to keep busy both in and out of work, whilst surrounding himself with inspiring people; whether its singing at the local church, playing in his local band, or supporting his local Southampton community through offering free musical instrument training.
